Our mission at S.O.L. Center U.S.A. is to provide resources of spiritual formation rooted in the Gospel values so that individuals and families live with faith and hope, joy, and fullness.
Our Vision
S.O.L. Center U.S.A. offers individuals, couples and families, spiritual formation through retreats, conferences, training, courses, support groups, spiritual direction in an environment of prayer, meditation and contemplation to provide a comprehensive social and spiritual integration.
Father Miguel Ceja is a Catholic priest. Born in Mexico, seventh child in a family of ten. Migrated to California at the age of 14 as an undocumented person. He holds a B.A. in philosophy from St Joseph’s College Seminary, M.A. in Psychology from Stanford University, M.A. in Theology from St. Patrick’s Seminary.
His spiritual awakening happened at a Cursillo Weekend Retreat. In the search of defining God’s will in his life, he has served as a lay missionary, volunteered as an organizer in the United Farm Workers Union, and youth ministry, and director of spiritual retreats.
He has served at various parishes throughout he diocese for 33 years. He has been a speaker at numerous congresses, founded a social justice organization; Roots of Justice and Co-founder of S.O.L. Center U.S.A., a place to provide spiritual formation.
He believes the work of social justice is a moral imperative of the Gospels. Considers the preaching of the Word of God and the celebration of the Eucharist as the center of his spirituality as a priest.
Father Juan Diego has served in many parishes in the Diócese of Apatzingan. His ministry extends from being co-founder of the diocesan seminary, spiritual director, vocation director, youth minister, and his extraordinary missionary work with the indigenous communities in Mesa del Nayar. He is an immigration advocate for hundreds of families fleeing the violence of drug cartels. Father Juan Diego earned a B.A. in Misionologia from Pontificia Universidad Urbaniana
